Jeez, the summer really flew by! I can’t believe tomorrow will be the first day of Fall! At least we made it down the shore 3 times this summer. I guess I will have to live with the memories of the sand, surf and sun to get me through the “ber” months!
Still working on my edits for my family history book. I plan on spending some more time in the coming months to finally get my draft published so I can make final edits and get it printed and ready to send out to my family.
I’m going to miss the warm months, especially the way the temperature impacted baking sourdough recipes. Even though we had the central air on most of the time the last few months, my kitchen temperature was perfect for getting my starter strong and bubbly and made bulk fermentation ideal! Sourdough pretzel bites are amazing and so easy to make.
The only good thing about fall is that football is back! GO BIRDS!
