Olives and Moss

I’ve been contemplating a blog for a while. Just have some fun, share some of my favorite things, but I couldn’t do that until I had a great name for blog!

Let me tell you naming this blog wasn’t easy! I literally read every article that I could get my hands on that had anything in the title about “naming your blog” or “choosing the perfect blog name”. Oh, and there are so many Pinterest pins!

Finally, one morning while reading yet another article, I got a little sidetracked and saw a pin about flower names and plant meanings! While quickly browsing through different plants, I had my “aha” moment and the light bulb above my head lit up!

Apparently, olives symbolize peace! Well yeah, that clicked and I chuckled a little! I found it funny since every holiday for forever, my kids always ask what I want as a gift, and my go to answer is always “peace and quiet”. Moss on the other hand represents maternal love! Nailed it! Olives and Moss, is the perfect name for the unique blog that I had it mind. Finally, I can write and share what I want. Being somewhat of a perfectionist, it will likely take me some time to get the format together, but that’s okay. Super excited to see where this goes!
