As a windows user for ever, the Mac stuff that I am learning is pretty awesome!
For starters, I had to buy a mouse to function, all part of the muscle memory.
Oddly, what’s down is up and what’s up is down when scrolling a page. I couldn’t grasp that I wasn’t able to continue reading whatever I was looking at and couldn’t figure out why? That’s when having the mouse came in handy and I finally figured it out. Who knew! (Rhetorical, probably the people that have been using a Mac forever).

I did learn something really amazing today, by watching a YouTube video (where else am I going to learn?) The video demonstrated how to turn a Web-page into an app! It blew me away how simple and convenient it is.
I no longer need to go through a browser to get to “YouTube” or “WordPress”. I now have an app in my dock that takes me right to each site. Windows could surely learn a thing or two.
Don’t get me wrong, I will always use the Windows laptop for heavy lifting and serious work, most of my genealogy programs are Windows based and 40 plus years of research and documents in a format that I am comfortable with and can easily find.
