Being the patient person that I am, I ordered a sourdough starter. I’m still working on getting Dough-lene up and going, but considering this is my second attempt with making my own sourdough starter, my patience is waning! Not too mention the amount of flour I’ve wasted (even though it is only flour).
I ordered from Amazon (of course) a starter from My Rustic Roots. The instructions are fairly simple and don’t require a significant amount of flour to get it going. At the same time I started feeding T.O. I decided to feed dough-lene the same amount of flour and water to see if that helps getting her going.
Why T.O. you ask? That was a fairly easy name to come up with. I asked the hubs about EAGLES players with a San Francisco background and mentioned Terrell Owens, so T.O. is the name of the second sourdough starter.
So now I wait (again) to use an active starter. Oh well, more time to add more items to my Amazon cart!
